Beautiful World (PLANiTb Acoustica Mix)『ヱヴァンゲリヲン新剧场版：破』テーマソング 《Beautiful World -PLANiTb Acoustica Mix-》是著名动画《新世纪福音战士》的新剧场版第二集《破》的主题曲。这也是继前年之后，宇多田光再度将自己的歌声与福音战士结合。宇多田光曾公开表示过自己是EVA的大粉丝。
而EVA的总导演庵野秀明在读了宇多田光在《周刊PLAYBOY》上的访谈之后，深感她对EVA的了解，于是邀请她为剧场版演唱主题曲，这才有了前作《Beautiful World》的诞生。由于前作的歌词与故事太吻合，几乎唱出了男主角真嗣的心声，因此总监制决定再邀请宇多田光，希望其歌声能替这部作品再加分。本次的歌曲中宇多田光的歌声从柔和到激昂这个过程转变得非常出色，充满了动感，时而让人热血沸腾，时而让人悲伤不已。
至于那首著名的fly me to the moon，并非宇多田光原创，另外宇多田光的那个版本名为：Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) -2007 MIX-99年的时候宇多田光在演唱会上翻唱过一次，07年的时候又重新录制。可能是由于EVA TV版的片尾是fly me to the moon，而宇多田光又正好翻唱过，所有才会有人以为这首歌是宇多田光为EVA唱的。
